As Dounhuila is situated on the cliff top you’ll enjoy uninterrupted views over the Small Isles and the Sleat peninsula to the West Highlands, as well as across Ardnamurchan to the mountains of Mull.

The garden is fully enclosed with a raised patio, garden furniture, chiminea and BBQ. This is the perfect spot to look out for deer in the evenings and to watch the sun set.

Escape for total relaxation with family, friends or the local wildlife; many of our guests regularly see red deer, gannets and otters; they have also seen golden and sea eagles, basking sharks, dolphins and minke whales.

Take a short walk down to the spectacular, rocky seashore or the renowned Spar Cave as well as the timeless fishing village of Elgol.
